An Evening with Adam Henson.
Three hundred and four members of North Yorkshire West Federation WI had an inspirational and uplifting evening with Adam Henson on Tuesday 22nd May. His life on the land has been his dream from a young lad helping his father on their farm to running the farm today. He spoke with enthusiasm about his work and his diversifications that have taken place over the years. Adam spoke about his application to the BBC for the position on Countryfile and out of 3000 candidates he was picked for the job. He continues with his father's projects in particular the saving and rearing of rare breeds, which is one of his passions. Adam also praised the WI for its support and commitment to rural life in particular our Milk Campaign and correct Labelling on Foods. As always the food was delicious and many thanks to the Craft and HE committee who made and prepared the spread.
