2025 Events and Workshops

Booking Form

We now have a general booking form which can be used for all events and workshops - it can be used in word or pdf form and forwarded by email.

The form can be downloaded in Word here or PDF here.

Cancellation Policy for all events

For clarification, for all events, bookings are taken until the closing date and if the event is not fully subscribed bookings can be taken after that date. If the event is oversubscribed, spaces will be allocated by ballot at the closing date and in the event of over subscription, balloted out members will be refunded. Non-members who have applied will not be given a place as WI members receive priority.

Refunds will only be given for an event in cases of members' hospitalisation or the bereavement of a close family relative, or at the discretion of the event chairman. If a member is unable to go, she should contact the office to see if there is a waiting list and her
place may be reallocated, and her monies refunded. If no replacement can be found, unfortunately the applicant will have to pay the full cost of the visit.

October

Booking Opens 1st July Closes 26th August.

Not too late to Book - some spaces left

Closing Date for booking this event is 23rd September!
Please register with your booking the competition items that you will be bringing on the day, by that date also.

The competition will be judged while the food demonstration, afternoon tea and Talk are happening.
Don’t worry about staging and presentation we have small tables for each WI’s entries.
You don’t have to bring the maximum four items per WI (four separate categories)… but the WI prize will be the most points (20 points per entry marking) achieved per WI.
There’s a Best in show award for each category too.
And, of course the makers of the competition entries don’t have to attend, along with their WI attendees. But it is nice to see your entry and result against the competition!
There’s a Best in show award for each category too.
You CAN of course just attend the day just for the demonstration, tea and talk,  and there is no entry fee for the competition. Neil will have some books to sell and sign any copies you already have. The raffle prizes will be Julie’s Culinary Creations!

We are doing this activity on a Saturday to allow the many of us who have busy weeks (and are still working or caring) to enjoy a bit of WI fun.
Go on , come along as it’s a super event!
u already have the booking details and a paper form (Booking Reference 25A5Han ), and you can ring or email Helen NYWFWI Secretary  to book too – don’t forget to say what competition entries you are bringing.
